With not long to go until the grand opening we were more than just a bit excited to see how far the Hotel La Tour site had come in the months since we were last there. So, with our rather unflattering safety hats and boots in place, team Cube3 took their first tour around the soon to be completed Hotel.

First up we were greeted with the impressive spiral staircase, opening out onto a lovely view of the lobby and up onto the first floor, where Alvar Bar is beginning to take shape. Next and we were in Aalto’s open kitchen, a really great space for when head chef Alex Penhaligon and his team begin serving the Marcus Wareing inspired menu. Then up another floor to two of the bedrooms – full length windows gives everything a really nice natural light and with a roof terrace overlooking the park it’ll be fantastic in summer.

Overall the new brand new hotel is looking fantastic as the finishing touches are added; the Hotel La Tour name is finally in lights with the outdoor signage hoisted into place, and we left feeling rather proud of a hotel we’ve had so much involvement in from the start. Now onto all the projects we’re working on with them ready for opening…the countdown begins!
